The apostle Peter, in his second epistle, tells us that God’s Word and promises are given as we encounter the revelation of Jesus Christ. His promises are unveiled when we experience His glory and goodness. In these moments, Jesus, the divine catalyst, implants His promises in our hearts like seeds, designed to grow and produce His life within us—just as a natural seed grows in the soil to reproduce its life. As the character of Christ develops within us, the living Word works in us, washing, cleansing, and pruning us from the filth of this world, transforming and conforming us into His divine nature. This ongoing transformation, both powerful and hope-filled, encourages us to remain committed and dedicated to our spiritual journey and inspires others to follow Christ.
See what people who have read the book are saying about it:
"Amen! Amen! Thank you, Neil. Praying blessings over you and Eunice in your ministry. I pray your wonderful book reaches thousands and opens hearts and minds for true discipleship. In reading your book, God has shown me that I especially need to love others more with a heart for serving Jesus."
"Optimal Discipleship is a great book, and I wanna put it into some people's hands that have spiritually helped and inspired me."
"I will definitely continue to pray for the impact of Optimal Discipleship. In rereading it, God is expanding, deepening, and underscoring new insights and depth of meaning, all the while removing the enemy’s lie that I’m not “good enough” to be a disciple, much less an Optimal one. God is so patient and kind with me and powerful in pulling down strongholds."
"Optimal Discipleship is a wonderful book. Jesus is with us all the time. It's easy to read and understand. My husband and I have been reading it together and watching the podcast, Two Ugly Mugs Finishing Strong. I would highly recommend this book."
"In the book, Optimal Discipleship, the author makes a unique perspective on God's teachings. I was left feeling the love and forgiveness of Christ. "

"Neil, I've been reading your book, Optimal Discipleship. I find it excellent. Your book should be a course in both Protestant and Catholic seminaries. In fact, it should be the core course from which all classes flow. "
