The next Finishing Strong Discipleship retreat for men and women will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2027. We will meet at the Red Oak Lodge in the beautiful Appalachian Christian Camp.

The retreat theme comes from 2 Peter 1:8. “For if these qualities (the manifestations of faith in Christ living through you) are yours and increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The qualities Peter wrote about are moral excellence revealed through knowledge that encourages self-control and steadfast patience, developing godliness which results in mutual affection manifesting agape love to the world. The goal of the retreat is to help each participant gain insight into how the Holy Spirit leads us to grow these qualities as we follow Jesus Christ.

The retreat instructors are Chris Bogart, Ben Booher, Neil DeSiato, and Todd Edmondson. Ryan Keesecker will lead worship.
